Amaryllo Forum Asia 2010 Print

From November 17 till November 25, Amaryllo will organise an `emergency, safety and mobility' forum in Asia. This forum will be held at several locations in Asia:

Taipei (November 17)
Hong Kong (November 19)
Beijing (November 22)
Singapore (November 25)

The forum will address several ITS aspects, including European update on ITS and theAmaryllo Flister system, an integral part of the StimoCC project. This project, currently applied for at the Dutch Ministry of Economic affairs via HTAS and supported by a consortium of international companies and research institutions, includes participants Eindhoven University of Technology, Delft University of Technology, Vodafone, MapKing, Technocon, Andes, Chang Jung University Taiwan, Beijing Transportation Research Center and SWOV.

The Amaryllo Flister system improves road safety and response time for emergency vehicles. It includes a transmitter device that is installed inside emergency vehicles. The system broadcasts Flister sound and digital messages that override radio broadcast in a range of several 100ths of meters. With this system, drivers are alerted for an approaching emergency vehicle through their own car radio and therefore receive audible warnings, even if they have closed car windows and high music volume.

In this forum, detailed information will be given about the system and you will have the opportunity for in depth discussions with key management from Amaryllo Flister. In the second half of the event, new technology demonstrations will be given that will show new and innovative ways for the system in the future.
