The Trinity is a standard BT 2.0 GPS receiver using a Sirf3 LP chipset with a superior antenna.

The Trinity has an integrated RDS /TMC Receiver 

All popular navigation packages that support Blue Tooth GPS can be used with the Trinity. These include TomTom, Destinator, Navigon, Nokia, Gate5, Route66 and others.

To use the TMC function you need Navigation software that supports OpenTMC. Please check the FAQ item "What Navigation packages support Trinity TMC?"

If your Navigation application does not support OpenTMC you can still use the Trinity as a BlueTooth GPS. Only the TMC function will not be available.
