Amaryllo applies for HTAS International project Print


Almere, September 9, 2010. Amaryllo has applied for the 2010 HTAS international project as project secretary of the StimoCC consortium. The projectStimoCC (Short term implementation of Connected Car) aims to pull the ConnectedCar forward in time. By developing solutions that address the aftermarket andmake innovative use of existing communication technology, the connected car canbe realised and available on the market very quickly.

With theresults of StimoCC, the driver can have direct information and driving adviseon his personal navigation device, phone or navigation system. This can beinformation of various kind and can include traffic light green wave periods,accidents, slippery roads, weather incidents, emergency brake ahead, ambulancewarning/free lane, ghost driver warning and traffic management breaking news. 

This project application is partially funded by the Dutch Ministry of Economic affairs via HTAS is supported by a consortium of international companies and research institutions including Eindhoven University of Technology, Delft University of Technology, Vodafone, MapKing, Technocon, Andes, Chang Jung University Taiwan, Beijing Transportation Research Center and SWOV.
