Amaryllo Purity - Wireless GPS receiver |

Robust Bluetooth GPS receiver for daily use.
A robust GPS receiver for daily use - designed in Holland
Purity uses the satellite signals from the GPS system to determine the current location on earth with a high accuracy. Purity can track 20 satellites simultaneously and use these data for the required calculations. This results in a reliable reception and steady fix in urban canyons, under trees and sometimes even in the home. The device uses the standard NMEA protocol and therefore is compatible will all major navigation software packages available on the market.
Power consumption
Purity utilises the SiRFstar III LP (Low Power) chipset. This chipset is the newest version of the well known SiRFstar III chipset but has a much lower power consumption than its predecessor. Purity will run approximately 15 hours on a single battery charge. Furthermore, the system will switch to stand-by mode when there is no Bluetooth activity for some time and will wake up again when necessary. Purity can remain for over one month in stand-by mode on a single battery charge.
European product design
Purity is fully designed in Europe. The internal device firmware is also developed by Amaryllo. The device is manufactured by a partner in Taiwan.
The Purity housing is designed using sophisticated computer visualisation techniques. Focus of the design was on robustness and nice look and feel. The result is a robust device that looks very stylish and positively differentiates against the well known Asian product designs.
Purity will ship with standard sized and replaceable rechargeable Lithium-ion battery, car charger, AC charger, manual, rubber anti slip stickers and silicon protection sleeve.
